Less Than a Week 'til eBay Live!

Windy City, here we come! We're less than a week out from our 7th eBay Live! event, and I'm getting excited. Since this is my first trip to Chicago, I'm personally looking forward to a number of things next week:

• Visiting the Community Lounge for the first time and seeing all the members I've gotten to know really well over the years, and meeting new ones.
• The keynote speech on Friday morning (and if you're not in Chicago with us, you can still tune in via the webcast - watch the Announcement Board for the link).
• Getting a taste of real Chicago-style deep-dish pizza.
• The Town Hall, where attendees get to ask questions of our executives (again, you'll be able to tune in online just like with our other Town Hall events).
• Seeing the Magnificent Mile for the first time.
• Trying to videotape the eNotes as we always do during the event, while they try to avoid us.
• The Closing Gala, not only to see Chris Isaak, but to perform my annual "pretend to be busy at the Gala so I can get out of dancing with a few specific members with whom I always promise to dance and then I end up breaking that promise" ritual.
• Going to the Cubs game on Sunday (it was sacrilege that a huge sports nerd like me had never been to Wrigley Field, even if we'll just be in super-nosebleed seats).
