Kicking off eBay Live! – Canadian-Style

Canadian eBayers lined up outside Chicago’s Eleven City Diner early this morning, awaiting a delicious breakfast – and a chance to ask eBay Canada’s Country Manager Andrew Sloss some tough questions.
The Canadian breakfast is an annual event at eBay Live! This year, with a record number of Canadian attendees here in Chicago, is no exception.
As Community members tucked into a hot breakfast and coffee, Andrew took the mic and gave listeners a quick state of the union on the Canadian business. The business landscape has changed dramatically in Canada in the last year, with the Canadian dollar’s meteoric rise in value (giving more bang for the buck to the Canadian buyer). Then the floor was turned over to the members who posed questions on all the hot topics, including detailed seller ratings, cross-border shipping, Feedback and Best Match. I unfortunately don't have a transcript, but I'm sure there will be a lot of similar questions during Saturday's Town Hall.
As always, the Canada team can be found – where else? – at the Shipping to Canadians booth. Everyone’s invited to drop by, make fun of our accents and learn about how to expand your business northward by making your items available to Canadians!
