Rites of Spring -- Upcoming Community Events

Well, spring is definitely here and members' fancy is turning lightly to thoughts of Community events.

Spring cleaning, that annual rite, can always be relied upon to unearth some unexpected treasures. The Pottery, Glass & Porcelain Board Sellers are calling these treasures "coolectibles" and are organizing their 4th Annual Spring Cleaning Sale, from April 1st to April 8th.

If you're a fan of the monthly Yard Fard Days in the forums, you'll definitely want to take a look at their Spring Fling contest, in which "Yardies" are asked to list "anything spring-like: spring colors, clothing, gardening, etc."  And you might just be in time to catch the Starting 2 Sell Group's Spring into Easter sale, which ends on April 1st. "There will be all sorts of discounts offered during this time from dollars off, percentages off and shipping discounts," they've proclaimed on their Group home page (from where I took the picture of these beautiful flowers). The proceeds from some of these listings are going to charity, so do make sure to take a look. Searching for "LUV2SSPRING" will show you the listings from the Starting 2 Sell Group.

If you're looking for a new look to your listings, look no further than the Photos and HTML board. They're celebrating spring by inviting people to share their free spring listing templates.

These spring-themed events are just a small fraction of the upcoming events members have planned to pursue their interests. The Master Mosaic Artists Group is organizing an Easter sale to offer all things related to mosaic art. The Cooking With eBay Group (who style themselves as CWEB) are organizing a contest to celebrate cook, restaurateur, writer, and TV personality Paula Deen.

And, as always, members in regional eBay Groups are organizing events for local eBayers to meet, share their eBay knowledge, and have fun. If you live in West Virginia or Wisconsin,  you may be interested to know what two groups, the eBayers of West Virginia and the Wisconsin Badgers Sellers are doing.
