Special Grammy Auctions through eBay Giving Works

If you were among the reported 17M people watching the Grammy telecast on Sunday, which represents a big Nielsen jump from last year thanks to the brilliant decision to NOT schedule directly opposite the musical juggernaut that is American Idol (seriously...what programming wizard thought that was a good idea last year?), you may have noticed during the second hour of the show that there was a mention of some special charity auctions being held on eBay this month.

The auctions, benefiting the Grammy Foundation and the MusiCares Foundation, are being hosted with the help of eBay Giving Works.  The first round of listings started on the 5th, and will be closing on the 15th, but the second round is already under way and will be ending on the 22nd.  Some of the more notable auctions include: lots of autographed memorabilia (Kenny Rogers, Tim McGraw, and more) and instruments (Bob Marley, Neil Diamond, and more) as well as my personal favorite, inclusion as a Free Agent in the next release of Madden Football for the PS2.
