Huge Elvis Fan? Own His Last Song

Posted by Jeff on January 24, 2007 at 05:46 PM in eBay in Pop Culture , General | Permalink

Jeff_post_116 Or co-own, I guess would be more accurate. Back in October, Ryan blogged about how The Elvis King lived up to his name on eBay (in a post that will forever crack me up because of Ryan's picture - it was right around Halloween, and the Robin costume was fantastic). Now Elvis is back in the news, as the rights to his (possibly) last unreleased song are going on sale.

"Just Like Rolling Up Hill" was composed in conjunction with appropriately-named songwriter Paul Terry King, and is written and sung by Elvis himelf. The rights are partially owned by industry billionaire Robert Sillerman, but now you can buy a controlling interest - if you're a musician, you can even produce, sing, and release the song yourself! Here are the details.

Plus, part of the proceeds will go to benefit The Larry King Cardiac Foundation through eBay Giving Works.
