Can Your Reviews=Cash? With Epinions' Holiday Write-Off, They Can

Have you checked out Epinions.com yet? It's owned by Shopping.com (which is in turn an eBay company) and gives people the ability to rate and review pretty much anything you'd be in the market for. Like eBay's own Reviews system, you can rate a variety of actual products, from Casio Exilim digital cameras to Gears of War for the Xbox 360. But they also cover areas that you won't really find on eBay, such as reviews for banks, restaurants, and hotels. The end result? All that input creates a great resource for buyers when they want to get another opinion before opening their wallets.

So the important part - how do you turn that into cash? Well, right now Epinions is holding their Holiday Write-Off. Through December 29, they're giving away cash prizes every weekday to people who write a review on their site for anything that doesn't yet have one (here are the official rules).
