Happy Halloween! And Show Us Your Pictures!

Halloween is arguably the best holiday here at eBay - a bunch of people dress up, and in the afternoon a lot of employees bring in their children to play games and eat candy (we'll hopefully get some pictures to share later this week). A Halloween or two ago Laura brought her two boys in, and they ended up participating in one of Meg's meetings! Each of our  executives have their own conference rooms, but the people who work for them get to name them. For example, Meg's room is named Blondie, and Bill Cobb's is Foghorn Leghorn, and each room is decorated along that theme.

Our cubes were near the exec conference rooms, including our COO-at-the-time's, Maynard Webb. Maynard's was named Shrek, and Laura's little ones,all dressed up, went charging in to play with the Shrek figures everywhere. Little did they realize that Meg and Maynard were in the middle of a meeting (officially making the boys way more brave than most eBay employees)! But Meg and Maynard stopped what they were doing, and ended up playing with the boys for a few minutes - such is the greatness that is Halloween.

People across our forums are getting into the spirit too. Between 2-3pm PT, there's a Halloween contest on our Night Owl's Nest discussion board. They're looking for picture of members in their costumes, or even just some scary Halloween pics. And if you bought your (or your kid's) costume on eBay, we want to hear from you. If you're willing to share the photos, post them to our Chatter Blog discussion board...we may feature some here on the blog!
