Introducing the New Member Spotlight

Some of you longtime followers of the Chatter may remember that one of the more popular monthly segments was the Member Spotlight. This was a program that asked members to answer a series of pre-selected questions about their early eBay experiences, their most memorable experiences, and other fun eBay moments from their lives.
Well I'm here to announce that we are bringing it back ... blog style. For those of you still getting used to blogs, the main benefit is that we won't have to follow such a rigid format. Gone is the standard list of twenty questions, and replacing it will be an opportunity for you to tell your own eBay story. Any eBay story you want. In your own words, pictures, videos, hieroglyphs, etc. Your story ... you make the call how you want to present it.
That means it could be anything from a special individual purchase, to how using eBay has changed your life. Maybe you would like to show people a glimpse of your "office" (where you do your eBay work), or share how you felt the first time you won or sold an item on the site.
You can submit your story in a few ways. First off we have a thread on our blog comments discussion board inviting members to share their stories. We will also be encouraging folks to upload personal videos to YouTube (the site we use for all of our videos). You can also send your submission directly to the team at chatterblog[at]ebay.com or to me at ryank[at]ebay.com.
Be creative, but most importantly be yourself.
