Down the Stretch We Come

If you watch ESPN fairly often (as we have a slight habit of doing), they've been running a "Bonds Watch" area in the ticker on the bottom of their screen that gives you constant updates on Bonds' performance, and whether he's closer to breaking the all-time home run mark. Well, we've taken that spirit to heart and have started our own Bonds Watch here - except that we're merely watching the action on the listing for Bonds' 715th HR ball (the one that put him into second place past Babe Ruth on the all-time HR list).
We've got less than 3 days to go now, and a new high bidder emerged just before the weekend. wjvalentine's 47th bid got him into the lead - now can he hold it? It's had more than 468K watchers to this point, so we'll see what happens. Stay tuned.....
